Orthodontist
I didn’t start out in orthodontics. I actually went to school for architecture and worked in that field for almost ten years. It was creative work, but I always felt like something was missing. I wanted more connection with people, so I made the leap into orthodontics, and I’ve never looked back.
I went back to school, completed the dental program at UCSF, and then finished my orthodontic residency at Oregon Health Sciences University. I can honestly say I love what I do. Orthodontics has given me the chance to build real relationships and help people gain confidence in their smiles. That’s the best part of the job.
I believe in always getting better; as an orthodontist, as a business owner, and as a father. I’m passionate about learning, growing, and balancing life with my family, my team, and my patients. I wake up every day grateful I get to do this work.

Orthodontist
I love being an orthodontist. The change that I see in patients from the time they enter our office to when they leave makes every day a great day. Having patients walk away with beautiful smiles and confidence makes me love what I do
I consider myself privileged to get to see our patients’ confidence grow as they achieve the smile of their dreams. I also really love seeing a patient’s excitement about the movement of their teeth as their bite improves.
Our staff in Sacramento, Modesto, Roseville, Placerville, and El Dorado Hills feels like a family and we are able to work together as one team. We all like meeting new people. When patients walk in the door, they become a member of our family. We love to laugh and hope to always leave a patient with a big smile on their face. My staff and I speak both English and Spanish.

Board-Certified Orthodontist
I’m a board-certified orthodontist with advanced training in adult expansion, including MARPE and MSE techniques. I’m passionate about combining precision, technology, and individualized care to create confident, lasting smiles.
Since joining the practice in 2018, my focus has been on helping patients achieve healthy, functional, and aesthetic results that fit their unique goals. I value communication, collaboration, and a modern approach to orthodontics that blends efficiency with comfort.
Outside of work, I’m a proud husband and father of three—two daughters and one son—and I love spending time with my family, exploring new ideas, and finding ways to make each smile journey a little smarter and smoother.

Orthodontist
I practiced General Dentistry for 9 years before transitioning to Orthodontics nearly a decade ago where I practiced at the Travis Air Force Base as a member of the US Air Force. I had the opportunity to mentor Oral Maxillofacial Residents as well as Advanced Education in General Dentistry residents. I treated mostly Air Force Service members, many who were unable to have orthodontic treatment prior joining the service. I truly enjoyed being able to help improve smiles and faces of the service men and women.
I completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri- St. Louis earning a BS in Biology. I then attended University of PIttsburgh School of Dental Medicine and earned my dental degree. I was commissioned into the Air Force on a Health Professions Scholarship program in 2003. I completed a 1 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency before being stationed overseas in Japan and Germany. After practicing General Dentistry for 9 years I was selected for the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio Texas. I earned my certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Masters in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics and I am a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
While being stationed in Japan, I met my amazing husband Scott. We have been married for 15 years and have two beautiful daughters. They keep us very busy with all of their activities. It is so amazing to watch them learn and grow and develop a love for the outdoors. Our family loves exploring all that the area has to offer. We love hiking, biking, swimming, skiing and camping. As a family we have made a goal to see as many National Parks and National Monuments as we can.
